Outdoor learning
Outdoor learning at Goldington Green Academy is an important part of implementing the curriculum in an interesting and varied way. Outdoor learning opportunities are implemented across the curriculum in all subject areas in a variety of ways. Planned outdoor learning days are also crucial to building up the children’s interest in learning outside.
We are fortunate at Goldington Green Academy to have a vast outdoor space and our own ‘Vis Ortis’ where children can become at one with nature and take part in hands on activities.
At GGA we are very proud of our Learning Environment. Have a look at our Little Pigs houses, giant story seat and willow tunnel. Our Outdoor classroom, the Whispering seats is inspired by Native American art.
We love to learn outside and have so much fun too!
Our New Chickens
Please meet our new chickens! Their names are Mrs Daisy , Mrs Biscuit and Mrs Cluck. We will be looking after them, collecting their eggs and cooking delicious food using the fresh eggs. Watch our website for more updates!
